SAT/ACT mins: SAT/ACT scores are not required as a decision for admission to Baker College; therefore, a minimum score has not been established for admission. We will however use submitted scores to determine if additional preparatory courses are needed prior to college level math and English courses.
SAT or ACT Scores must not be more than: A student submitting a score for consideration must have completed the corresponding test within the past three years.
LSP Application deadline: No deadline. Applicants may submit an application at anytime and enrollment is ongoing on a quarterly structure.
Where to find application: Applicants may submit an application through the website www.baker.com. Upon completion of the application an Admissions Advisor will contact the student to assist the student with all required documentation.
Freshmen class report date: Ongoing. Classes begin each quarter throughout the year; however, data is reported to the US Department of Education based on each year’s fall statistics.

Will you cover difference between tuition minus GI Bill and cost of in state "state" school tuition? Or do you want to keep it to in-state residents? As a private, not-for-for profit institution, we do not offer different tuition rates based on student’s state of residence. Therefore, there should not be a difference that is not covered through the GI Bill.
Do you want to donate additional money to each applicant should the need arise? Not at this time.
Processing fees: $20- Application fee is waived for Active Duty applicants.
All majors open to Marines? Yes.
Recognize AA degree or any college course work: Yes. Both are evaluated along with a Marine’s SMART transcript to assure maximum credit is applied.
Recognize awarding of college credits via alternative means, e.g., DANTES or CLEP: Yes. Additionally, free evaluations of SMART transcript allows for ACE recommended credits to be applied.
Additional information: Some degree programs have specific additional requirements. An Admissions Advisor will consult directly with the student regarding these. General Studies degrees do not have additional requirements beyond those defined above.
